The Board of Commissioners will be holding a Special Meeting on May 9th at 6:00PM to vote on petitioning the General Court for special legislation to amend the District’s enabling legislation to allow for the appointment of the Clerk and Treasurer positions, which are currently elected positions. A second vote will be for petitioning the General Court for special legislation to amend the District’s enabling legislation to allow for the purchase of land for general purposes. The meeting will be held at the District Office located at 75 Church Street. A copy of the warrant can be found here.
